Upon receiving ISO14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems, in November 2002, we stepped up our efforts toward solving environmental problems. We adopted the Ohashi Technica Green Procurement Guidelines to promote purchasing of products that minimize the impact on the environment. We also provide our partners with assistance in making their production facilities ISO14001 certified.
Our green procurement program focuses on three major initiatives:
(1)Introduction of the Green Partner System
(2)Resource-saving activities and environmental initiatives
(3)Regulated chemical substance control
